All HELLAGRO S.A.΄s products comply with the requirements of the relevant Greek and European legislation on traceability and migration of substances and are safe for consumers.
In particular, materials intended for foods have the respective certificates and are subject to strict control for the absence of heavy metals and harmful chemicals.
HELLAGRO S.A.’s quality control department, following the standards with which it is certified, conducts controls on all batches of materials received, as well as for all products to be delivered.
With respect to quality assurance, HELLAGRO S.A. applies the standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000:2005 of ΤÜV AUSTRIA.
By micro-packing we mean the packing of fruits, vegetables, and other products weighing from 500gr up to 5kg. The products are packed in net packages (tubular, knitted or extruded), which are closed with clipping wire or net-film and are labeled with self-adhesive labels (thermal or not), wineglass labels (thermal or not) and bolduc ribbon. Micro-packing is performed either manually or with semiautomatic and automatic machines. Micro-packing results in small, convenient packages of products that are attractive to consumers and easily transported from the store shelf to the consumer site.
HELLAGRO provides all the above micro-packing materials, for all automatic and semi-automatic packaging machines, in a wide variety of colors, printings, and qualities.
